My magnificent home of Victoria is in the grip of an unprecedented bush fire tragedy. As the catastrophe unfolds we continue to be devastated by the immensity of the heartbreak that surrounds us, our families and our communities. We all are left feeling overwhelmed, powerless and helpless, yet ironically it brings us closer to the core of our humanity and soul. The testimony to this is in the exceptional outpouring of aid and concern on all levels.
As an astrologer and on behalf of my Australian astrological community, I am appealing to our wider international community to support us. While we will all benefit through your prayers, visualisation, healing and your humanity and concern, I am also appealing for help with the enormous task of attending to our wounded and homeless wildlife. Over 400,000 hectares of land has been decimated and our wildlife is at great risk, in need of food, shelter and veterinary assistance. Wildlife shelters have been destroyed, food supplies have been wiped out, water sources contaminated, animals are burnt; our circle of animals is in great need. Many thousands of our wildlife have perished. Monetary donations will be sincerely valued as this will immediately help the immense task of nurturing the animals in need.
